Cup Holders
First off what a great site....tons of useful info, most of which the ford dealers dont even know. Thanks to all who contribute.
Now for the question...i need a replacement cupholder for my 04 250 xlt. the bottom support has broken off and now what ever you put in ends up on the center hump. i have checked several junkyards here in houston and have been unable to find a replacement and dont want to pay high dollar at local ford.
Any other ideas????aftermarket???other vendors????

I replaced the awful old style "cup launcher" in my 2000 with the newer style like in your truck. I got it from http://www.powerstrokeshop.com, who are a site sponsor, for around $60 or so if I remember correctly. You can also try Ebay, but at the time I was looking, Powerstrokeshop was cheaper than the Ebay vendors, and certainly much cheaper than Ford.
Their website is a bit tricky to navigate, but go to your year truck, Collision, then select Instrument Panel, then the Instrument Panel sub section, and then Cup Holder, then your color. Honestly, you may want to just call and talk to a human, but either way I've ordered twice from them and had great experiences both time.

flyinnuts - It may not be for you - My '75 has a couple "Mug Bouy's" in the cab. They can be had at a sporting goods store for boat access. The mount attaches to ?? and the holder can be added or removed at will - and will keep the drink bottom side down even if you do some serious 4X4 stuff. Last I looked, they sell for about $15. If you're handy w/ fibreglas, they can be made.
