SPEEDOMETER CABLE
I have a 1965 F100 which was built with a cast iron cruise-o-matic, I have since pulled it out and substituted a more reliable C-6, my problem is that the com used an adapter on the transmission end of the speedometer cable which screwed into the case whereas the C-6 uses the newer push-in type of cable with the adapter made as part of the cable end. My question is does anyone remember what cable they may have used in this swap that has the push-in end on the transmission end and the screw on end on the speedometer end of the cable? THANKS for any help in this matter.
