6.0 intercooler
i would like to get a 6.0 intercooler for my 2003 7.3 truck. The one i found has plastic end caps. I remember reading on here somewhere that there was a problem with the plastic end caps being weak or something. If anyone knows or has had a problem with them please let me know so i don't buy something that isn't going to last. Thanks guys

I asked the qestion in the 6.0 forum before I put mine in (I had a 6.0 IC for a while, before the Spearco I run now). There were a few instances of the end tanks blowing off the core. The crimps that held the tank on came loose and the end tanks came off. However, I never had any problems with mine, and I think it was more of a problem in the early IC's that were out. If you found one from an '04 or later, or just bought a new one now, it should be fine.
