I have gotten many parts off of a junk 64 F-100 at a local junkyard.
I was wondering if the front/rear windows will interchange.
I have gotten almost everything else from the truck (Bed, doors, hood, front right fender) and the only thing left is the cab and the wrecked left fender.
So, before they crush this car, I wanted to know if the glass will interchange. I need a front windshield (as mine has a crack) and while Im at it I figured I might as well get the rear one.
Please let me know if they will fit.
All the windshields from 61-66 will interchange. The rear will most likely interchange but there was a big back window option I think from 61-63 only. The back is just a flat glass so if you take a couple of quick measurements you can find out for sure.
Andy, Take a drywall type knife with you and cut the rubber all the way around on the inside and just lay the glass over to the outside. Be real careful with the front one because it can become very brittle.

In the cool still quiet of night, you can hear chevies rusting away.
Ditto on what John says about the glass becoming brittle. It is amazing just how delicate this glass becomes after time. Fortunatly new glass is available and even comes in grey tint.
