Steering box Question
Hey guys, I've searched with no luck. I have an '01 7700 4x4, and the steering gear is a bit sloppy, is there an adjustment on these? Thanks! Rob

There is an adjustment on it but usually the problem is somewhere else such as worn idler arm, tie rod ends or the shaft between the steering column and the box.

I've been all through it, and when I had the steering shaft out, I could feel play on the sector shaft. If that's what they still call it.
