does anyone know off hand what the difference is in the bassani truck and bassani bronco headers?? they have different part numbers all for a 96 351w. i`am building a 4x4 ford e350 van with a 96 351w and i want to put headers on it but witch ones for the truck or for the bronco? will be using 1356 transfercase e4od trans dana 60 front and rear thanks for reading
Not sure why the different part numbers. They should be the same animal. The Bronco is just a tiny (very short) F-series and everything from the nose to about the aft end of the front doors is identical to the rest of the F-series 1/2 tons. Of course the bassani stuff is supposedly tuned to the vehicle the parts are installed into. So it may be something in the difference in the total length of the entire exhaust system that they change for the Bronco since its shorter than the rest. Might be worth a call to bassani to investigate.

thanks for the reply bassani will be getting a phone call. from what i understand bassani headers are the cats meow for a ford truck with a small block. to bad they dont make anything for 460 at least not that i have seen but that is later on once the front axel is installed and bugs worked out.
I have an '89 EB with 5.0 L 302 and I have just installed the Gibson High perf exhaust system with SST Headers that bolt up to the existing Y pipe if necessary. I did a fair bit if research and asking other "experts" and the Gibson headers seem to be in a league of there own. The price is reflective of the difference in quality of course but the look and simply horsepower made the investment worth it to me. High quality workmanship with performance and aesthetics. FYI I paid $700 cdn for my headers and another $900 for the cat back. I had to have a piece fabricated to join the headers to the cat back because this truck no longer requires emissions testing in Ontario. So the cat is GONEZO.Ding dong the witch is dead.
The bassani and the Gibson equipment are on par with each other but as mentioned, the bassani equipment IS built around the vehicle that the components are listed for. In other words, bassani acutally built the headers for the Bronco using a Bronco as the ginea pig. It would have been very easy to just make a set of headers that fit the F-150 and say, "Yeah, they'll work on the Bronco too". Gibson may do the same thing I quit researching when I got to bassani. Couldn't beat the stainless construction on the rest of the system.
