the difference is in the casting numbers like e7te heads come on the windsor and also on the 302 but the bolt holes sizes are different the windsor has bigger bolt holes in the head but there really are no differences between the heds them self check your cast # the heads i see alot of people use are e7te heads i also use them as well

ok i have an 83 or older block but i am trying to put my 89 fuel injection on the block i tried to use the 83 heads but it is not going to work my original 89 heads have broken valves instead of waiting to get the rebuild i am just going to get a diff set of heads, and where abouts would my casting numbers be???

i found my cast numbers on the underside of the head they would be something like e5te or e7te look at the top of the forum page and go to the casting number chart you also do need to run the fuel injected heads i think if you have to get new heads find e7te fuel injected heads from a 5.0 not a 351w
