Steering wheel shake
Hello : I've got a 97 Ranger Supercab 4X4 .In the last six months my problem has gotten worse and worse. When I put on the brakes my steering wheel starts shaking .At first it was only the wheel but now the brake pedal seems to be vibrating too. It's gotten pretty bad and I'm about to start investigating further. I have pulled off the wheels and put a steel ruler across the rotors and they seemed flat .If I can't find anything else I guess I'll just have to go ahead and r&r the rotors and pads and assume that will fix it .Any other ideas before I start throwing the money around . Thanks.Also I road-tested it and actually it acts differently now the pedal doesn't pulsate but if you just press the brakes lightly as you come up to a stop sign ,you can feel the car speeding up and slowing down as you stop .weird, anyways thanks ,yorgy
