Driver side door window switches
I have been having an intermittent problem with my DS widow going up. Goes down every time but sometimes I have to rock the switch back and forth to get it to go back up. I think it might be the switch. I removed the switches (all 5 switches are connected) and was trying to clean the switch I'm having tyhe problem with. Do the come apart individually? How?

I had a similar problem on my 2000. It was a real intermitent problem though. Happened once about 1.5yrs ago, and then happened twice in one week about a month ago. I looked around on this list for a while and found what I think was my problem. One post recommended to "gently slam" the door while you held down the switch to raise the window. I tried that, and it worked right away. I later took the door panel off and lubed at the tracks (and also took apart my non-working keyless entry kepad and cleaned all the corrosion off the contacts- works like a dream now, man that's a nice little feature), and the window has been working ever since.
