Just want to say thanks! I have been reading this forum for a while now, I have a 94 Ranger 4X4 with a 4.0 and yesterday I was out for the day and went too go home & it would not start! I noticed right away when I turned the key on there was no Service engine light and no fuel pump.
By remembering the posts on this condition I went right for EEC relay and switched it with the A/C relay and it fired right up! ( Estimated brake down time 5 mins )
This is a great forum with much info. I try to do my part also, so thanks again to all for the good info that is put on here.

lol great that something helped ya and got you back on the road!
When my fuel relay went out I switched it with the A/C relay so I could drive to O'Reilly's for a new relay...jeez that was a hot drive (last summer - in Texas).

Good feedback Rags, maybe that'll help some other folks in a similar situation get back on the road as quickly as you did.
With all the posts on here about those pesky relays, I'm gonna stop by my favorite autoparts store & pick up a spare & carry it with my fuses!!!! lol
