Steering Wheel Oscillation
I recently purchased a 2001 F250 Super Duty Crew Cab with Standard Bed with 97000 miles. When applying the brakes aggressively, I get a fairly large oscillation in the steering wheel that seems to get worse the harder I brake. I had someone tell me that I might have a warped rotor but am not totally convinced that this is my problem. Has anyone else experienced this and if so what was the solution.

warped rotor syndrome. Very common in these trucks. The only true fix is to change to a quality set of rotors and pads. You can resurface your current but the problem will return a little quicker next time. Call if you have any questions

be sure to torque lug nuts with torwue wrench or equiv. and also make sure all caliper sliding hardware is lubed and slides as suppose too if not the caliper will stick and cause parts to wear abnormally or quicker !
