i have a 93 f250 4x4 and i was wanting to put 02 f250 4x4 rims on my truck but i was told that ford changed the 8 bolt pattern slightly in 02 so 02 and newer rims will NOT fit on older(pre 02) 8 lug ford pick ups... anyone know if this is true??? thanks nathan

Reason: wasnt right
the bolt pattern changed in 1999 to 8-170 and stayed the same thru 2004
the 2005' to present have same bolt pattern but different offset/backspacing
in 1993 the pattern was 8-165
my dad (he has a 92) and i were going to do the same thing i was going to give him my 02's wheels but no dice
