Hi Everyone,

I just found this site a couple of day's ago and i think it's great!I went through all 40 pages..
A wealth of info from some people who obviously know what's going on with their Fords.
I on the other hand, unfortunately, do not.....but am trying!
Anyway to the question. I own a few F series trucks, the one i am currently working on is a 66 F-250 4X4. I got this one and a 62 unibody from a guy just looking to clean up his yard. The 66 is a major project. I tore most of it apart and like i have read on many posts here, i am not alone with Rad support problems. So... i was talking with this guy see, and he has a support that came out of what he said was a 63, and say's it wil fit 61 thru 64 f-100 thru f-350's and will also fit 65 and 66 4X4's.
Is this the real dope, or is he pulling my chain??

Thanx for any input! And happy to be aboard!

Rob

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 01-17-03 AT 08:25 AM (EST)]Rob_S,

I don't think your chain is being pulled. I'm sure someone with more definitive knowledge will confirm, but I believe that Ford did use the '61-'64 style (fender aprons, door-steps and radiator support) cab on the '65-'66 4 X 4 models.

In fact, the easiest check is the fender aprons. If the front-wheel aprons on your 4X4 are rounded and not angular, then the '61-'64 radiator support should match-in to your truck.
