I am using a disc brake convertion kit to put discs on the front of my '63 F100. Everything looks fine except the kit installation claims I need a banjo fitting on the caliper and then a flex hose that would take me to the frame for hook up. Ok, sounds simple enough, but I have a couple of concerns that perhaps someone could help with. Because I will need to purchase new hoses from caliper to brakes, will OEM hoses fit? Secondly, it their a pressure issue with the rest of the brake system (lines) by adding these power boosted discs? Finally, does anyone know of a master cylinder/power booster that would be a direct bolt-on to the firewall, something I might be able to pick up at my local bone yard? Thanks for your help. JL
Well the master cylinder will need to be sized for the calipers your using.
No do not use the old rubber lines get new ones, You should just spend the money and redo all the metal and rubber lines at the same time even the ones across the rear axle. Power brakes can have a huge increase in line preasure and the last thing you want to do it bust a line in the back on your test drive.
Try this for your calipers.

NAPA #36959 fits '85 Buick Riviera front, and accepts 3/16" hardline. this hose is 17" long, and works well on almost any front disc setup. It accepts a metric banjo (hollow) bolt at the caliper and fits non-metric calipers by simply passing a 7/16" drill thru the caliper end block. An excellent rear hose is NAPA #36799 which comes from 75 Jeep CJ-5. It is 17" long, and accepts 3/16" hard lines.
