68 Ranger troubles
I have a couple of problems that I think might be related some how. I have a 68 ranger with a 302 and a C6 tranny. the engine has an edelbrock performer with a 650 holley. The rest of the engine and tranny are basically stock. The problem is when the engine warms after driving it for a while the idle will begin to drop. also when I put the truck in gear the idle will drop about 5 to 700 rpm and eventually will not want to run in gear. I think the engine might be having an evacuation problem, someone also told me that the torque converter might be causing the problem with the tranny. Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks ahead of time.
