Exclamation Need help quickly

I am finally installing my SPA digital gauges and cannot find where to install the fuel pressure sending unit. The instructions are WAY too general and I have spent longer searching the forums than on the install. Could someone please give me a hand?

The sending unit is 1/8 npt and this on my 01 Ex. 7.3L. The sending unit is kinda big too, so space is possibly an issue.

There are 2 places on the heads that are 1/8 npt - but there's not much room - so I think the sending unit there is out without some elbows and tube to get them spaced out to where there is more room.

There is a fitting on the back of the fuel bowl - but you need an adapter to get it to 1/8 npt

The plug you want is an allen socket, about half way down the fuel bowl - toward the drivers side of the truck. That's where I have my mechanical fp gauge under the hood tied into

Doh! Sorry I don't know what the threads are on the fuel bowl - maybe someone else does...

Here's some pics from Strokin......

I haven't messed with my fuel system yet, other than the gauge and shimming the FPR...

Ok - now a better question...I think I found the two plugs on the back of the fuel bowl but the upper one on the driver's side started to turn and the got real tight. Should I be concerned or keep pulling. Using a 3/8 ratchet with the allen tip bit. Last thing I need is a cracked filter housing............however I do want to do the bypass thing with the external, wait.one thing at a time.

Is the plug on the back of the fuel bowl big enough to drill out and tap to 1/8 npt?

Man... I dunno if I'd crank on it too much.... I got mine loose with a regular allen wrench, not even a ratchet....... the fitting is too big for 1/8 npt tap, I KNOW that - but you might be able to do a 1/4 npt tap and use a reducer fitting - I'm not sure though....

Edit: - you know - I think there's an O-ring on the plug that you take out. I bet you have the threads loose - but the o-ring is still stuck fast.
