Decided To Post This Here Too

This is a C and P of a post I put in another forum, not automotive related. They have a thread going there complaining about gas prices. If only enough of us could get the right people to wake up and smell the bacon. Well read it for yourself.

In a nutshell. The blame can be placed one spot only...EPA...and all of the tree hugging, bunny hugging lunatic envirormental weirdos that happen to reside primarily in what we in the U.S. call the blue states. That and the super high taxes on petroleum products. The entire Western Hemisphere should have been 100% nuclear power 25 years ago. I am spending the summer in Alaska, do y'all know fuel is cheaper here than anywhere in the lower 48? You know why? We have our own oil and our own refinery. When I first came up here in 1971 gas was triple the price it was at the time in the lower 48. Ask your favorite tree hugger when was the last time Canada or the U.S. constructed a refinery. We can't drill off of Florida, but China can, and is going to. They are leasing offshore areas from Cuba, and are going to slant drill and literly steal our oil legally. I love a good bunny hugger...PROPERLY COOKED!!!
