oil pressure please help!
ok guys this 95 f-150 300 streight 6 I got I payed 250.00 for it. its 4x4 everything works on it. now I noticed when I got it the oilpressure guage never moved off of the peg (I am talking about the bed below saying it has any oilpressure at all in it.) I changed the dash board in it (from blue to tan because im going to be painting the truck green and installing a tan interior in it instead of blue) well everytime I always started it reving the moroe or anything the oil pressure guage never moved at all. so after I got the dash changed in the truck I started it up to check everythign to see if it all worked. it all did. this time my oilpressure went up to normal and stayed there for about a minute once the motor ran for a min or so it droped like a rock back down onto the peg saying nothing again. if i reved it it cane up to the higher side of where it says normal then fals back down to nothing again it did tha for 3times then just stayed on the nothign peg. what do you guys sugest I do? do you guys think its the oil pump? the truck has 144,??? miles on it.
