emergency??
ok..here we go...finally finding the time to change my #8 injector...here's the problem...the boys at diesel care, where the rebuilt injector came from told me to pull the glow plug and crank the engine with a socket by hand to get rid of the oil that was all puddled up in the head...easy enough. worked perfectly, till I hastily went to set the glow plug into place and poof...it is gone. it fell into the head somewhere...maybe where the pushrod is?..not sure and was having a hard time seeing the area. I have to go get a magnet and a mirror tonight. Anyone ever run into this before?..It did not sound like it fell to far but I cannot see it....I hope I do not have to pull the head. As always, thanks foir any input/advice. scott
I hope you find it. I sure wouldn't want it laying around in the engine like that, possibly in harm's way.
