OASIS reports

Recently had an oasis report on my 06 psd. It did say that I had an outstanding recall, some emissions thing, but the service mgr said it would only bring up maintence issues the truck has had that were repaired at that dealership. Another words, I bought the truck used and it came from the state of Ohio, so according to the service mgr, I won't know about issues it had there. Is this true? Im sure im posting this in the wrong place, this is just where I spend most of my time, feel free to move it.

Nope. An oasis will give all warranty work done and recalls. Service work, like oil changes and stuff will be at the dealer doing the work. That is what I have noticed when I take my wifes car to where I bought my truck and not where we bought her car.

DITTO .... it's everything done to the truck / car at the dealerships. A lot of times dealers don't like to give out OASIS info because it'll show you ALL the problems with a truck / car .
There is another site on line where the techs will run your vin and give you the whole OASIS report. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the input. Would that site be myford.com?

The link works for me. It could be that these links are allowed for paying FTE members (supporters) only. I went ahead and started paying a while back figuring I received way more than $15.00 a year in information from here and the few other little benefits.
