batteries die all the time

hi all

the building i work at gets cars to store inside. the floor is concrete, the walls are 5' high concrete with metal framing and metal exterior walls on top of that and a metal roof.
every vehicle starts and runs when brought in but in as little as 10 days the battery dies.
i think the building has something to do with it but the guys at work say it is the cars sitting too long without being started.
so my arguement with them is start them every other day blah blah blah.
could it be the building? is it sitting?
the vehicles do jump start easily when needed.
just curious as to if it is the concrete/metal building or inactivity.
any thoughts would be appreciated.
thanks

It is inactivity, especially if these are new cars. I saw a bulletin for new car dealers from one of the big three that said if a new car was going to sit for more than 20 days, to disconnect the battery. There is so much electronics in these cars and trucks now, with memories and parasitic drains.
