new front leaf springs

Does anyone know if I bought the "Tough Country" set of front leaf springs for my 96 if that will raise the truck front 2" or is that a stock replacement? How long before these might sag? I am thinking go this route or add a leaf. Anyone do this replacement themselves? Do you need a front alignment after this is complete?

I did an add-a-leaf 4 years ago made by Superlift 2" and still no sag. I do go off road a lot here in the Mojave Desert.
