From NW Ohio
I came across FTE while searching for Bob Jones Skyland Ford, a long ago Denver area Ford Dealer. Who can forget those really neat BJSF custom truck creations from the mid 50's to the early 60's, flame jobs, full fender skirts, louvered hoods, side pipes or stacks for the exhaust, etc. If I remember right BJSF had decked out some '57 and '58 Ranchero's too.
BJSF also sponsored several auto racing venues in the Denver area, a couple of modifieds from Lakeside and Englewood Speedways, and of course BJSF appeared on the Kenz-Leslie "777" streamliner class E, a real record setter through the 50's at Bonneville, Utah.
We lived in Denver from 1952 to 2003, health issues brought us out to NW Ohio.
I've had three Ford trucks, 1958 SWB F-100 wide box, inline six; 1973 LWB wide box, 360 V-8; 1977 LWB F-100 Custom, Big Ford 6. Still searching for right F series LWB, prefering the 1973-1977 years, maybe another '58 SWB wide box, with a full house 312
My son who lives in Denver has 1992 F-250 4X4, that he is tricking out, and it's taking shape; his latest find is a 428 Ford, he is not sure if it is CJ or not, but it could still wind up in his F-250.
BTW - here is one of the BJSF sponsored cars from the 50's at Englewood Speedway -
