I have a 92 ford f350 with a 7.3 and a e40d.In febuary my tranny went out,i took it out myself to save money.i took it to the shop and they rebuilt it.after i reinstalled it,it worked good for about a month then went out again, once again i took it down and back to the shop it went.they tore it back down and found they had installed the wrong solenoid pack and some clutches had gotten hot. i picked the tranny up yesterday and installed it .and now ive got to rev the engine high to get the truck to move in reverse.the forward gears shift real soft and i can smell friction discs getting hot.
well i am pretty peeved now ive pulled and installed this tranny twice and now its got to come out again. i purchased this tranny cash and carry with a one year warranty. it seems to me maybe they should pull this tranny this time at no cost to me.what yall think
