2002 E150 brakes
Hello everyone,
I coming over from the F150 forum but needed to ask an E150 question for my brother. He would like to find a brake kit upgrade but we can't seem to find anything. Does anyone make one? If not, what other options does he have. Is it possible to swap the E150 for E250 brakes? Thanks for the help.

Well, you really can't easily install the 250/350 brakes. That requires changing a lot of hardware at the hub along with the 8 lug wheels, master cylinder (what about the ABS?) etc... Then what about the rear brakes and wheels (which are still 5 lug)?
It gets complicated fast.
The E150 uses the same basic brake/hub package as the F150s that have the twin I-beam front end. So an F150 kit can probably be adapted.
I wasn't happy with my brakes (warped and cracked rotors) until I bought CarQuest brand premium rotors and ceramic pads. The braking is improved and I now have doubled the life of the rotors and still no signs of warpage or cracking.
