torque converters?

torque converters?
i have a stock f-250 with 390 and am wondering if and how swaping in a new aftermarket torque converter would help me. the one i have found in jeg's it is called a saturday night special and has and approx. 2000rpm stall speed. please help

torque converters?
390s have a low rpm torque range so unless you have a big cam in yours i would just go with stock. do you really want to launch at 2000 rpms? if so you better do something about traction.
