Well guys...I'm just hoping to get some of the pricing back on the shirts. I've got a guy I used in the past for some embroidery, and he said to send the logo up to him and he'll take a look at it. Last time he embroidered a 3-color logo onto some t-shirts & hats for me and the cost was under $300 for 20 shirts and 10 hats. I think they charged $7-8 for each item (that's the hat or shirt and the embroidery cost) and there was a one-time fee of $75 for preparing the image file. If we use them for the shirts & hats, then the $75 fee is waived on added purchases because they'll keep the image on their server for future orders.

Art,What is the price now? And how does it affect the pricing for the membership fee's? I think having both the shirts and the hats would be nice, but I wonder if it would be cheaper to have the shirts silkscreen? Can we do a poll on this?
i would rather have em silk-screened or screen printed than embroidered, i think it looks a lot better. im gonna call some peoples, and see what they say about it.
ill bring my big purdy chrome tip off of my bronco that we can hold, or maybe one of the glass-packs im about to put on.

Slash the embroidery will last alot longer.I'm sure we will cover everything at the meeting.
All I'm looking at is gettingnthe prices for both so that it's easier for all of us to decide on what we want. As far as embroidery, silk-screening, screen printing...the embroidery would only be for the hats. I think we have to screen print or silk-screen the shirts because of the size of the logo.
As for prices, nobody has given me any. I sent the logo out late last week and early this week to 4 or 5 different places, and I haven't gotten any pricing back. All I had was one place tell me that they use their shirts only and the cost for pocket t-shirts would be $8 a piece with a minimum of 50 ordered.
We use Jim Gardner at www.customshirtsonline.com for all of our Fire Department shirts and hats. Call and talk to Jim,(866) 336-2354. Tell him I sent you (Scott Bradshaw @Sloop Point Fire) and he will take care of you. If he doesn't, you let me know.
