Big predicament...

I'd say do whatever you would consider as a usual 'guys night out.' A bachelor party doesn't have to involve alcohol and a stripper, that's cliche if you ask me. It is an opportunity to get together with a number of people you don't always get to hang out with and celebrate a big step in a man's life. This is a little pricey, but a guy I knew went to the Dale Jarrett Racing Experience for his bachelor party. Paintball, laser tag, camping, go-karting--these can all be fun.

I would say what does the groom enjoy doing? What has he always wanted to do but maybe never had the time or money? I think the paintball thing sounds like a lot of fun. Remember it is a party for the groom not for the groomsman. The groomsmen are free to go get drunk or see a stripper or whatever anytime they want. If they are true friends of the groom, as it sound like you are based on the angst this is causing you, then they will find a way to have fun.

my brother took my friends and me out on the boat for the day and evening. there was drinking but it wasn't the highlight of the day. bbq, a few lines in the water, lots of poker, pitch, and black jack, it was a great day. plus Nancy didn't get p'od for the cliche stuff. a great point made by ladybronco. my brother ate a worm. not a tequila worm, a fish worm. it was a great day and i stayed out of trouble
