Had the rear rotors replaced and brake work done to my wifes superduty last week(disc brakes). The next day she had niose and the ABS light came on. Takes it back the guy said he fixed it But the next day same thing.
So I jack it up take it apart and there is gear oil on everything. I take the hub off notice a couple of things fix them and as I put the rotor back on I notice that it has play in as it sit on the hub. The stud holes are bigger so you can move the rotor sideways 1/8th of an inch or so. This is my 2nd time messing with rotors is there suppose to be that much play or could they be the wrong ones.
My rear rotors move on the studs about 1/8" as well. It hasn't seemed to have any negative effects. Once the wheels are tightened up, the rotor no longer will move freely.
