Fail Safe Mode?
I got a fail safe code on my dash and checked it with my EDGE its a 04 F150 5.4 and it was P2106 throttle actuator control system-forced limited power what does this mean. i reset it and it went away!

It is a system ford has that is called "limp-home" mode. Sometimes mine does it when i drive around in town on level 3. Reset it to stock and then back to Level 3 and you should be ok. Edge should try and make a program that overruns it, IMO. But i was told if you bust a radiator and cut a hose it allows you to get somewhere safe by fire the cyclinders in a sesquential order instead of all at the same time.
