Wiring diagram
Hi 97 f 150 sc 4x4 I was wondering where I could get a wiring diagram for the radio in my truck. It has a stock radio with a cassette player and I would like to change it out to a radio/cd player. Thanks in advance.

If you're replacing your stock radio with an aftermarket head unit, pick up an adapter wiring harness. This will help a lot. It also prevents you from having to snip and hack the existing radio harness to crap when you install the new one. Makes life a lot easier.
These aftermarket harnesses usually cost less than 20 bucks.

I did the same thing went from stock cassette radio to CD/MP3. I bought an aftermarket head unit and the harness at Best Buy, they had a special on free same day install. Got everything I needed; wiring harness and dash kit.
