Most non turbo return lines cross from left bank to right bank at the rear of the engine.
Since the turbo puts the downpipe right where the crossover line is located, the turbo equiped motors cross from bank to bank at the front of the engine.
There is usually a return line from the fuel filter that is not needed.
There is a return line from the IP that is needed.
And there is a bleed off on each injector that is needed.
Where and how the return lines are connected is not important as long as each injector and the IP are tied to the return to the fuel tank.
