So after bringing home my "new" 3spd OD trans from the junkyard I started searching around for parts. I ended up finding more resources than I originally new of which was great. I recieved my OD solenoid in the mail today which I purchased for a great price from an ebay seller. I managed to scrounge around and find the relay, kickdown switch and other parts and plan to rebuild it next weekend.
Sounds like a blast... I'm jealous. I want to rebuild the engine & tranny that I have but Its drivable right now and I feel like it would be a shame for it not to be on the road. I've also thought of getting an old 460 and C6 and rebuilding those.. but all my money is being saved up for bed-work, body-work, and paint.

What bed kit are you using. I hope your not buying one of those $400 bed kits. I am in school right now to become and engineer and I designed the bed for my dad and I's truck and the bed aluminum was $80 and the cherry for the bed was $120. I just need to put it in. But if anyone wants to see my rendering say something and I will try and post it
I wished I had driven mine longer before taking it apart. It was drivable 3 1/2 years ago, now it`s still on the rotisserie.
I wish mine had been driveable when I bought it! Now after 3 1/2 years it's still a pile of parts. But I think I'll get to put the cab back on the frame tomorrow!
Jeff
I'm not using a kit, I plan to make it all.. The tailgate and rear sill I will be trying to buy used though. Sure I'd like to see your work, you should make a gallery.
