Are add-a-leafs worth it?

Are add-a-leafs worth it?
I got my lift kit from a friends father who had it on his truck way way way... way back in the day. The springs show signs of some sag. Is it worth putting some add-a-leafs in to counter this action?

Yes and no. If you do put them in it may help for a little while but if used for hauling or off roading you will probably end up breaking some leaves in the main pack due to age and fatigue. If you can find a spring pack with the same width as yours you could swap some of the leaves and get some more life out of it but I would be worried about the main leaf breaking.

See I was thinking the same thing. Putting in some new and strong might upset the other springs. Hmm... well... might as well save the money up and order custom built 12" springs. 8 is just not enought anymore. Its probably around 6 now due to the sag.
