I have a '71 F100 that I would like to put on a 4x4 frame. If I understand correctly the Highboy from '73-'76 used the same frame as the '71??? Does anyone know what year would make the best candidate for a swap, since a 71-72 4x4 is hard to come by. Thanks--Nick

 

I put a 62 body on a 79 4x4 F150 frame. Not a bolt on, but not too bad. I would think your 71 would be an easier swap with a little engineering. Good luck!
