Need help: Brake system failure

need some help..

I have a new 06 - F150 lariat 4x4.. Got the truck in jan 06.

Problem:

Once I got the truck the brake pedal had pressure and the truck stopped easily. Only took pushing the pedal about 1/4 way to get the truck to stop. Then it started to fade.. I popped the hood and found the master cylinder was leaking. Took the truck into dealership and they replaced the master cylinder. Got the truck back and everything was fine and dandy.. Plenty of pressure in the brake pedal, not much force required to get the truck to stop.

A few weeks after this the pedal started to fade again I had to pump the brakes to get pressure.. But yet the master cylinder wasn't leaking this time. I took the truck back in and they replaced the master cylinder once again. After getting the truck back it didn't take much force to get the truck to stop, only had to push maybe 1/4 the way on the pedal and there was plenty of pressure.

One week after this the pedal started to fade again, loss of pressure.. Basically the same feeling and issues that happened before. Took the truck back in and they say they can't duplicate the problem. I drive it around for a few more weeks and the issue is getting worse and worse.. I can't even pump it anymore to get pressure.

So the 4th time I take it in (truck is still currently in the shop) they say they can't find an issue at this point. I have to push the pedal at least 1/2 to 3/4 the way down to get the truck to stop. There is no pressure in the pedal, it feels like there is nothing forcing my foot back. I'm basically scared to drive it at this point.

I've driven a new truck as well just to make sure I'm not crazy and it sure as heck doesn't feel like mine.. I don't know what to do, I'm in the process of contacting a lemon lawyer to help. The ford dealership refuses to acknowledge the problem.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Please help

I have had the very same trouble with my 05 sc 4x4 and the same response from Ford except mine started with viberation when I put on the brakes.Ford put on new front brake calipers and turned the rear rotors. Before I took it in, I had the 1/4 brake pedal and now it goes way down even with the gas pedal and will get a little better when I pump them up. I had it at 4 dealers around KC Kansas and they all say the brakes feel fine. I bled all 4 brakes myself with no improvement. Any help is appreciated. Are there any Ford Tech's out there.

Well unfortunately my news won't help you.. I ended up contacting a lawyer and ford is replacing my vehicle. I ended up taking it in 4 times to have it fixed with no luck.. At least I'm winning in the end..
