Which is easier?

I have a 90 F150 302 m5r2,the transmission is bad
I have a 94 F250 300 zf transmission,the motor is bad
Which would you do,motor or tranny? Thanks

honestly, I'd do the trans. The 302 is too light of an engine to put in a 3/4 ton truck. Assuming both trucks are the same configuration you already have everything you need.

I would base it more off which truck you need more for your needs, and make a decision that way. If you need the 250 operational, fix it. If you just need the wheels, but not load capacity, the 150 would do fine.

Thanks for the replies, you guys are really a big help! Wish I had found this site sooner.
Going to try to make my mind up soon. I'm sure I'll be asking more questions as I do decide what to do. Thanks again
