Yesterday I dropped the tank and did the "hutch" and harpoon mods inside the tank. From there I added a carter 4070 fuel pump and ran new 30R7 fuel line all the way to the stock pump. After driving about 10 miles I could noticably tell the truck was much more quiet. I must have been sucking in a bunch of air before because now it purrrs like a kitty. Stopped to fill the tank and other than having to stop and restart because the dang pump was preset to stop at $75. I couldnt believe how much faster that made fill ups.
Also changed the tranny fluid, which I presume was orginal from the factory (116,000) And also replaced the gear fluid with Royal Purple.
You're welcome Sprint! Glad to hear it helped your stroker out. I know I was pretty impressed after doing the harpoon, especially when stopping at the big truck stops. Just as a sidenote, the little website hit a new milestone last month... Over 1000 visits and 64,000 hits! 99% from FTE.

Use the links above that Nut listed. The Hutch mod will keep all of the factory connections from the fuel tank to the fuel pump from sucking in air to your fuel system/injectors. It does make a noticeable difference in the sound of your engine by removing all of the air. The Harpoon mod allows you to fill the tank faster and all the way to the top.
These mods were probably the best things I did to my truck!
