I just wanted to let everyone know that i have put propane injection in my 89 7.3, and man what a world of difference. First off you notice the power majorly it kicks you back in the seat when you turn it on and second i have noticed i can shift smoother due to the lesser idle down between gears it seams the propane keeps the rpm's up for just a little longer and makes the gears go in really nice. Just wanted to let everyone know, and if they are thinking of doing the propane injection...DO IT.... i did it for not even two hundred bucks tank and all and i bought everything new so i say go for it.
I did use that link you gave me farm boy, and yes it runs a steady flow of propane at 5psi, the parts i used was as follows:
Single stage regulator, mr. heater accessories to get the regulator to connect to the hoses, about 12 feet of hose, a water shut off valve from the hardware store instead of an electric on off switch this way i control the propane when i want it on and off and then the tank and a milk crate so it has some stability in the back of my truck. cost me less than 200 bucks.
