Thanks for the heads up, Dave. I do hope you understand that you can be a member of both chapters!
In fact, I did join their chapter and encourage all NorCal members to join. This is especially true if you spend any time on that side of the mountains. Just don't quit us!!!
Numbers count with FTE - it takes a certain number of active members to keep a chapter open, and, if and when, FTE starts handing out goodies the more members a chapter can show the more they will get.
Also, I am not against joint activities - perhaps we could get together for a rock crawl or camping trip into Nevada with their members.
