Hey guys, some of you may remember me from the smaller forums of older trucks, i used to have an 87 f-150. well im buying a 2000 f-350 SD with a 7.3. and im wondering where you can get a stack setup for them. ive seen them before, with the y pipe and stuff in the bed so theres nothing under the drive shaft, but where do you get them, any ideas?? thanks guys,
~Jeremy
All my friends who got stacks had made their setups. They cut one 4" whole in the bed and used a T and just ran it from theirs. THey went and welded it themselves.
ok thanks guys, im really looking foward to this truck, it needs al little work but, i couldent beat the price. i love working at a ford dealer and seeing all the trade ins!!
thanks, ill check em out. the ones on ebay were wicked expensive, even without the actuall stack, i may just hit up the local truck shop and see what they got, im not to worried about mufflers, those are cheap ebough.
Dynomax also has a kit called Truck Staxx. I haven't looked into them so I have no idea about fit, finish, or availability, but they may be worth checking out.
Give us a call on the MBRP systems we have sold a lot of them and they are a true bolt on system. They are also the only folks using T-304 polished stainless for the stack themselves, everybody else uses chrome that will chip over time etc.
Those look nice, but notice they say Chrome Plated. Unlike the MBRP's that DPPI sells and are Stainless. I would rather have stainless stacks for durability.
well ill have to check them out, im still unsure, i know they look awsome, but... i think i may loose bedspace that i really like, so im not sure yet, i may just do a regular system, and stick to side exit, its all still in the works, thats for sure!
Thanks guys
~jeremy
