Wax

Anyone know a good wax? I've used Turtle but someone told me I'm killing my paint.
Thanks

I like the McGuires part 3 carnuba wax myself. Goes on easy and comes off easy. I used to use Wax Shop SuperGlaze, but it isn't available locally any more.

Same here, good stuff.

I like all of McGuires products, especially the leather wipes, those things are great and not only leather but on the dash and console as well, no greasy residue and no shine, just clean.

As far as the wax/polish goes, use anything that has carnuba in it, your clearcoat will thank you, and don't rub too hard, just use more polish on the applicator.

I just did my white truck with all McGuires in 4 steps. 1) Wash and dry, 2) Fine cut cleaner, 3) Swirl remover, 4) Yellow wax. Very impressed so far. On the back of the bottles there was an 800 number if you had questions. I did not call but thought it was nice considering there were so many choices in the car care area. I used the orbital application for steps 2 and 3. Hand applied the wax and hand removed then buffed. Looks very nice. Toward the end of summer I will use the wax cleaner product. Sounds funny but the paint feels nice. Next year around this time I will do it all over again. It took me about about 1/2 day...and will give your shoulders a good work out but I think it is worth it. It was about $10 for each bottle and I had a lot left over.
