where is a reverse / backup circuit wire ?
I have a reverse camera installed. The guy that did it never figured out how to make it work when I go in reverse.
Well I have it figured out now .. but need to have a hot wire when I go into reverse.
so where near the drivers area can I find a wire that is hot while in reverse ? I just need a signal sent to the monitor to turn it on when in reverse.

On the auto ,there is a DTR switch mounted on the side of the tranny by the linkage.
out of there is a Black with a pink tracer this wire is hot when you select reverse.
The wire does go to a trailer tow relay up into the engine area driver side.
