Glove Box/Stereo Systems

Does anyone know, or could anyone measure the glovebox of their '69 or equivalent F-100? I am looking at CD Changers and don't know what will fit. I can't drive four hours on a school day to go measure it either, so I'd appreciate any help. The next time I'll be able to get it running is over Christmas break; until then I can look at stuff I want for it

I'm not sure if you plan on removing the liner or not. There is a lot more room if the liner is removed. I have also seen where someone made a custom liner with larger inside dimensions. Let me know, I'll see if I can measure up.

I'm not sure if glove box dimensions are the same on a '78, but this is what the '78 measures out to. Opening dimensions are 14 and 3/4" wide and 4 and 1/4" tall. Like Stockman said depth is dependant on whether or not you plan to keep the liner, however if you do keep the liner you'll be limited to about 6" of depth.
