92 explorer heating core

Question 92 explorer heating core

how do i replace my old heating core with a new one?

Look in your Haynes or Chiltons manual, I think on your 92 it was still a very simple 30 minute job.

If the core is behind he glove box on your 92 just remove the cover & the hoses & pull it out.

It is behind the glove box, and it's an easy job. A new one is only about $20, so I suggest putting a new one in versus flushing the old one, if you are going to remove it. Is the core leaking, or are you not getting heat? If it's leaking, make sure it's not the hoses before you pull the core out.
