Turbo Noise???
My truck the other day started making a whistling sound everytime I slowed down and started gaining speed again. Once the motor shifted in higher gear it would stop. The whistling was coming from right behind the radio under the dash. So I figured it was the turbo. It doesn't do it all the time. About two weeks ago it did it right before I got to work. Is this something to worry about or need to fix.

Turbos will whistle when you remove restrictions. If you have not done any mods to you intake you may want to check all your hose going from you air box to your turbo and make sure it is not cracked or loose. If you have noticed a power problem or lack of power you may need to check the other hoses as well. If you like the whistling noise and want good filtration, go with the 6637.

That is a good idea, a few months ago I had to get to my valve covers to get to my wiring harness. One of the hoses might be slipping off or something to that effect. I'll check it tomorrow.
