Major OOPS

I was just informed that on the last fill up of my truck that about 2 gallons of unleaded was put into my fuel tank before they realized the mistake and then topped the tank with diesel. Will the gas mix with the diesel or should I pull my tank to drain.

2 gallons of gas should not hurt anything. Yes, the gas will mix with the diesel quite well to form what I call diesoline.

Two gallons wont hurt anything. On the other hand, this morning I have waiting on me an 04 diesel ambulance they put 54 gallons in(that might hurt something)

I hate to think what the disposal fee will be for that 54 gallons of gas.

Oh fiddlesticks....If there was only someplace a mechanic could put all of that worthless old gasoline! Can't leave the transfer tank full - the next guy might have to use it.

I had an armored car the was filled from almost empty with gasoline. The disposal fee was only $50cdn.

However, if there's a bit of gasoline in the tank, I'd add some kind of lubricity additive just for safe measures.
