'68 door handle
i tore it down to do some rust-proofing to the inside, and noticed that the door latch is very worn. the passenger side door works fine- and the latch there isn't worn nearly as bad.
does the latch on the driver side have to be replaced, or is there an adjustment that can be made to the linkage? i noticed that new new part is $15 at LMC.
thanks- sam

Ruling out a bent linkage or some issue like that then there is no "adjustment". It sounds like the latch may simply be worn given that the outside handle functions correctly. Was there any improvement when you lubed it? If not, I vote "worn" Take it off for closer inspection.

My '73 door started to stick because of worn hinge bushings, replaced them, works great. Cost about $10 at parts store, and took about 1 hour.
