Fuel Pump Push Rod?
There is a fuel pump push rod on an on line auction, Item number: 4652362181. It lists the part as P/N #FP-685 Master, saying it fits a 1952 F-7, F-8 and 1952-53 lincoln. I have a 1948 F-7 with a flathead V8, 337 ci. Will this push rod work in my 1948. Are the 1948 pushrods different than the 1952's? I got no reply from the person listing the auction.
I recently removed the mechanical fuel / vacume pump to work on the heads. I found that there was NO pushrod driving the mechanical fuel / vacume pump.
