Hypertech Vs. Dp Tuner

now before you guys try to stone me to death, let me explain my situation.
when i got my truck it came with a hypertech programmer which has 100 hp for its highest setting and i can tell a huge diff when i have it on the 100 hp setting.
my question is would you guys think that i will still be happier with jody's meaning that do u all think that hypertech's 100 hp is less than jody's 100hp??

i know that i cant change settings on the fly with my hypertech but i can read codes and i dont htink u can do that with jody's but i want your opinions
thanks

If you're happy with it that's all that matters.

I switched from a Hypertech to Jody's tunes, and there is a huge difference. Actually I went from Hypertech to a Diablo Predator, and saw a jump in power, then saw another jump in power when I went from the Predator stacked with a Banks 6-gun to Jody's chip. So, yes, you will see a big difference, not only in power but in the way the truck shifts too. Everything is just better with Jody's chip. And you can always keep the Hypertech around just to pull codes.

Hyperjunk is more like it. I'd stay stock before installing one of those that someone gave me. Get the SCT2 from Jody and you can do all that Hyperjunk can.

I will be making the switch from my hypertec to jodys 6 pos chip for a few reasons. First here in Colorado we have a E-test ( every year for diesels and 55 bucks) so I switch mine to stock. A pain in the *#$$ with the hypertec. Also to change to a lower or higher setting the same pain. I think the tunner does well from a stock setting. I just want to make it easy to change the setting. No plug in, wait, download off on with the key ect........ And look at all you have to pick from at the turn of a little ***.

When it came time for me to up the power in my truck, I had it down to either Hypertech or DP. E-mailed them both at the same time with questions. DP got back to me the next day, Hypertech a week and a half. For me it boils down to customer service. Case closed. DP Tuner got my buisness, and I am not disappointed!

Not sure because I have an 01 and I had to get a PCM calibration. You best figure it is worth about $239-$45 (chip with 1 standard tune) new. About $190 new so I wouldn't pay more than half for used electronics.

no you would have to add for the other 2 tunes - it comes with a stock tune and he added the 40 and 80
